I was pretty appalled about the attention given to me. I had a 5:00pm appt I gave the receptionist the name of who I spoke to. A fellow came out and said I can help you but I have to make it quick. He didn’t even tell me his name. I said I wanted to test drive a Camry which we did. Had a bit of a chat about the car while driving I asked his name. He said he had to rush for another person coming in and gave me a card and said I could come back. So weird. I did like the car but I didn’t like the experience at the dealership. The place was also a mess but he said they had a flood? Very odd. I think I can’t get a Camry?

Overall, would not shop at this branch again. the sales consultant was silent for most of our interaction, felt awkward. Was very demeaning and even made statements along the lines of you can walk away but the car won't be here if you change your mind. Honestly a little more compassion would work wonders. I ended up signing the same day at a different branch. Will bring any other business to that branch with me if I could.

Received a very frustrating car buying experience from this dealership. I had placed an order for a car in July and waited 5 months only to receive a call from the salesperson I was dealing with that my car that was being delivered was going to be $2,500 more than I was quoted and had several options I didn’t want. After multiple calls with this salesperson and management I was not able to find a resolution. After this frustrating experience, I had left an honest review on their website. 5 Minutes later, I received a call from them saying they will no longer sell me a car unless I take this review down. Rather than providing professional customer service they resulted to threatening me over a review sharing honest feedback about my experience. I will not be doing business with this dealership in the future and recommend others don’t as well.

Took my wife's car in for inspection as I was keeping it from a lease. I run an automotive shop so I did my own inspection the day prior. Now while I admit I didn't use a gauge to measure the brake pads I've been in the industry for over 20 years I know what 1 or 2mm brake pads look like. They said my rear brakes were 1 or 2mm low. I said no way that's possible and declined the work. Imagine my surprise when I rotated her tires 6,000 miles later and her brake pads were at 6 mm. Not even close to what they said. Very unhappy with this experience.

Called to have a nail taken out of my tire and was told it would be a 6 days for the appointment. Went elsewhere. Left a message today on price for 25k service. Got a call back 5 hours latter and was told it was a free service. I questioned it and was told that my car was still covered after 2 years. I asked to make an appointment,they transferred me to appointments. After waiting for a period of time the 1st available appt wb January 8th. I questioned again about it being a free service charge and told it was not. I asked how much it would be and they said they would have to transfer my call again. I was extremely disappointed with the lack of care I was getting and told them I would go elsewhere. I bought the car from them because I was told it had a good service department. That was wrong!!!

I'm a Toyota fan and on my 3rd Toyota (Rav4, Highlander, Tacoma). First time purchasing and servicing at Greentree Toyota. Sales/Service staff are very friendly and professional. My reason for not giving 5 stars is the Greentree Service location on 45 Commerce Drive in Brookfield, is a "nightmare". First, it's a separate location from their sales location. Second, it's not a great location and not a short-walking distance to any stores. Third, the service location is difficult to navigate around because one side of the building is service and the other side is collision repair. Fourth, there was no visible "one-way" direction around the building and the driving area was littered with parked vehicles. Fifth, the service entrance was not easily visible, and I had to ask some service staff how do I enter my vehicle. Sixth, the service waiting area was decent with chairs, tables, restrooms and a large TV, but no vending machines visible. Seventh, service follow-up was excellent and all work performed was clearly explained, including the future visit at 10k miles. All in all, if the Greentree Service location was closer or easier to navigate, the complete experience would have been 5 stars.

Positive sales experience with Pete - Nightmare service experience with both Toyota Corporate and Greentree. Car has not been reliable or quality like it used to be. The technical service and customer service have not attempted to make up for that either. I have owned a 2023 Tacoma TRD Off Road for the last 17 months. and 32k miles. I bought it new from Greentree. Service appointments consistently have comments ignored and require follow up service or bringing to an independent shop to verify work. One of my free 25,000 mile oil changes was ignored. The truck has left Greentree with the service light on twice after repair. The car: Power steering rack failure at 10k miles, full replacement under warranty from a dealer in California while on a trip. Steering shaft loosened after service, required re-tightening - really concerning. Power steering pump has failed, requiring replacement. Leaking power steering pump and low power steering fluid were not noticed during a routine check while the vehicle was in to diagnose other issues. Despite 3 power steering issues, Toyota rejected my Lemon Law claim. Tech did not check for open Toyota Service Bulletins despite my specific request and descriptions of the issue (rear end noise at 50ph, under load). Product failures, repair failures, customer service failures. Cannot recommend. Calling to talk to a service writer always leads to voicemail. I put off writing this for awhile with the hope that somebody was going to right the ship. 1 Star for Pete only and 0 stars not possible with google reviews. Cutting my losses and getting rid of the truck. I've talked to Mark Tigner before so no need to reply that.

I went to greentree toyota for a check engine light on my 23 tacoma, and their techs correctly diagnosed mouse damage to the knock sensor wiring harness. The service advisor, Kim, then quoted me 10 hours of labor, totaling over $1900 for the full repair. The DIY forums all estimated about 6 hours for the repair. I went ahead and purchased the parts from a different dealer for $105 and completed the repairs myself in about 6.5 hours (nearly 4 hours faster than the trained and professional toyota technicians!). When I began the repair, I noticed that the techs at greentree forgot to tighten the negative terminal of my battery after their inspection. It was completely loose, and I’m surprised it was able to make good enough contact to start the truck. This is the second dealer I have gone to for service and the second bad experience i’ve had with careless toyota technician work. Overall, I saved myself $1800, and my distrust and hatred for toyota dealers and their service departments has only increased.

Very good at being polite and friendly over the phone and through text/email but not at delivering the service that was discussed during those calls/messages. Many dealerships with better selection and more reliable appointment scheduling in the area or within a 30 minute drive. From what ive seen this is a small sorry excuse of a toyota dealership thats stuck in such a busy area yet fails to take advantage of the demand. I purchased a vehicle from another dealership that provided me with a quicker response time and vastly larger selection while caring enough to give me updates about the availability of the vehicle leading up to my appointment. From my experience this dealership seems like a big waste of time and reflects badly on the Toyota brand.

GREENTREE TOYOTA 87 Federal Rd, Danbury, CT 06811. PURCHASE & SERVICE YOUR TOYOTA AT ANY OTHER DEALER. $$ Sales & Service Managers failed me after a 21-year relationship. I purchased a Gold Certified Toyota at another Toyota Dealer in less than four hours elsewhere. I will continue owning Toyotas. I am a loyal Toyota customer-for-life but not at Danbury Greentree Toyota. Since 2002 Toyota's Prius is my auto of choice. SO SAD THAT THIS SALES MANAGER FAILS and then TRIES TO COVER HER BEHIND. There is nothing confusing about this experience. They failed and now do not like transparency & accountability. Very disappointed about our service expeience yesterday. The young lady who answers the phone was so extremely rude, she got my last name wrong and instead of asking me how to spell it she was just rude. Then trasfers me to my technician who was not there . My car had been there for 6 hours and nobody contacted me when it was ready. So I had to call and ask and to be treated rudely is unacceptable. Then when I called back to say that my technician was not ansering and that all I wanted was to find out if my car was ready , she hung up on me. Again totally unacceptable. When I finally just showed up at the service counter without knowing the staus of my car, I was not at all impressed with the gentleman who was helping me. Overall a terrible experience.

First time coming in for 5k service maintenance since purchase of vehicle. Employees were nice, attentive. Building offered a decent size waiting area where you could set up your laptop at a desk, or sit & watch tv. Service was completed in time stated. Having had vehicles serviced at other dealerships over the years they’ve always been returned washed, so that was disappointing. Drove up the street to see a red light on my dash so I pulled over. Got out of the vehicle to find my hood was never shut properly, that was also disappointing. Just hoping everything was done as promised otherwise

This review is about being contacted for a job/position at GreenTree Toyota. I was contacted by one of the managers to come in for an interview about a month ago. I was very pleased to hear from them. The interview was scheduled and I went in the following week to meet with the manager regarding a position as a scanner. Meeting with the manager, I was then interviewed and she expressed great interest towards hiring me, that she wanted to move forward with the hiring process. She explained to me there would be a drug test, background check and that she will be calling me back to come in again so that I can meet her boss. Said that she just needed to find out her boss’s schedule first and will contact me to let me know which day worked best for me to return. 5 business days had passed and I had not heard back. I called, connected me to the hiring manager and she said “Oh I was just about to call you, you were on my list.. we have decided to hire someone else for the position.” I said “Okay, i understand.” She said good luck and hung up. No explanation, no apologies and just rushed me off the phone. It was explained to me during my interview how much Greentree Toyota valued their employees, expressing pride as both a family & business. I doubt that. There were no intentions to call me back, the manner as to how this was handled was poor, disappointing, unprofessional and rude. Employers if you don't want to hire someone, do not tell them you will schedule a next stage interview with someone else. No one deserves to be treated that way and embrace a found new opportunity to then just have it taken away.

Greentree said we needed all 4 new brakes [26,000 miles on car]. Did not have parts for our appointment. We did cancel second appointment a day in advance. Greentree wants us to pay a restocking fee. And it gets better. Took to another mechanic. We do NOT need brakes.

Well, I don't know about all the good reviews but my experience here was bad. I explained my concern about my car, where my camry xse lurched forward between the first and second gear to the service adviser and they took the car in and did nothing on it.How on earth would my car need a TCM reset and they told me I need a new transmission? They put me through alot of mental stress because I was worried about how to raise 8k for a new transmission. I can bet that the one hour diagnostic I paid for , nothing was done because after that , I took the car to a transmission shop; Kings Transmission at Carmel NY, and the issue was fixed for me in minutes.

This review is for both service department as well as the body shop. I have been getting service done since 2009. Very courteous and friendly people. Service is great. Service reps explain things clearly. They also explain which work is urgent and which needs to be done in a future service. Associates and reps have often gone an extra mile to resolve an issue or provide discounts.

I love my Rav 4 Prime, I started the lease in February 2024 and got an excellent discount. Joe helped me understand everything and explained how to use the panel with car play. He was patient, answered all my questions and never talked down to me. What I really liked was he too, owns a Rav 4 and has owned it for some time. I went to Honda and Kia looking for a hybrid and the costs were astronomical and the cars handled okay. The Service people are also very professional. I’m very satisfied.

They were not able to find and fix a problem that I have with the car's computer. I find the computer to be very quirky and will not lease another Rav Prime if it is not improved by next year. Also, the waiting room should have coffee and water and maybe some snacks for the people who have to wait two hours for their cars.
